In the beginning, the company provided plant protection services all over Andalusia. During the first twenty years the company focused on this activity, task that required a considerable number of aircrafts. Until 1984, Faasa basically had light size and medium-weight aircrafts.

In 1984, the company had twenty aircraft, when in a pioneering way,  Faasa starts the complex task of forest defense and aerial surveillance. Four years later, Faasa became the first company in the Spanish aeronautical market to have two divisions, fixed wigs and helicopters. The first helicopter was located in Andalusia.

At the beginning of the nineties, the company increased the fleet of helicopters and aircraft in order to increase its services. The company started to provide medical services so they introduced one of the first medical emergency helicopters in Spain.

In the year 1999, Faasa starts its teaching career, with the Opening of CAENA, Andalusian Center of Aeronautics Teaching. Initially, the teaching was solely directed to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, until the year 2003 when the Training Center for pilots was opened.

Years later, in 2005 Faasa entered the international market, specifically in Chile, where Faasa Chile was opened, as a project of internationalization and resource optimization.
